Self-care is SO important. Especially when life can become so over-whelming and too much sometimes. Here are some ways I help my mind and body,
1. Baths, bath bombs and LOTS of them. I am a #lushcosmetics fanatic. There is definitely something about a bath that brings me back to peace. I light some candles, dim the lights and let myself sink in. Sometimes I read and sometimes I meditate, whatever works to instil some quietness.

2. Throughout the years I have had some issues with saying "no.". It's okay to say no when you need to take care of yourself. Put yourself first and if you need to say no whether it be a date or even a girls night, do it.
3. Yes, this is contradicting, but also learn to say yes. One of my biggest regrets is holding myself back from new friendships and experiences because I was too scared to say yes. Let go and dive in. You never know what joy these experiences might bring.
4. Learn what calms your mind, that moment of where you are focused on nothing else but that one thing. For me, this is creating my jewelry, cleaning my house and literally laying down and listening to my favourite music and doing nothing else but that. Sometimes all you need is some Fleetwood Mac and a good pair of headphones.
5. Yoga. Need I say more? and for all you non-yogis out there, going for a nice walk and tuning the rest of the world out or going for a run at the gym might be your muse. Just get that blood flowing and release those endorphins.

6. Journaling. Even if you only have time to write down a couple things, just quickly jot 3 things you're grateful for. It does wonders for your mood and attitude you'll have that day.
7. I am still trying to get back into this myself, but get completely naked, get in front of a mirror and let yourself know how absolutely stunning you are. I am starting a new fitness journey and you can track my progress here. No matter how you feel that day, just get in that mirror and know you're the sexiest.
8. Do you know what a magic bag is? It's life-changing. Heat it up or throw it in the freezer and its your new best friend.
9. Affirmations. Let yourself know why you admire you. What are you today? Are you love? Are you beautiful? Positive affirmations stick with you all day and remind you of how incredible you are.

10. Feed yourself something delicious and nutritious. Take care of your body too, it's the only one you got.
