I Needed A Break

What are the most overwhelming things you can think of? Do they make you feel like you're drowning and can't get out?

Honestly, I go through some very deep, very overwhelming feelings sometimes. This is okay, it's SO okay to feel what you need to feel.

However, it's not okay to not take care of yourself. Don't ever be afraid to ask for help.

I've learned it's more than okay to take a day. Breathe, do lots of that (even if it's hard). Remind yourself you are an amazing living being.

Sometimes I sit in silence, sometimes I sit and listen to my favorite music. Sometimes I want to be alone and sometimes I need someone to be with me.

I think we forget how important it is to love and take care of yourself first. How do you balance all of the stresses of life and maintain pursuing your goals? Breathe, it's okay to stop at that moment. Remember you are only so much at once.

Take a break.

I did.

Remember the things that help keep your soul intact.

For me, I need to do something physical or creative. Ex. Yoga, going for a run, painting a picture, making my jewelry.

Then, after this day, remember what keeps you going and why you are doing what you are doing. Work hard towards your goals, even if your goal is just getting up at a good time the next morning.

Remember that taking breaks isn't a bad thing. We NEED to recharge sometimes. If you don't you will burnout. I did.

It sucks because I have SO much I want to offer my life. This blog, my jewelry, my studies, my work, my relationship, my relationship with my family. But I know I will do so much better at balancing these things if I remember to take care of myself.

One thing at a time okay?

We all need to relax and recharge sometimes.
